Do you know where the beef comes from that you feed your family?
At Duckett Limousin our family strongly believes you need to understand the food chain and where your food actually comes from you are feeding your family! Is your beef born, raised, and harvested in the United States or for that matter, in Iowa? Do you personally know the farmer/rancher that produces your food? Every fall, we sell Limousin beef by the 1/4, 1/2, or whole animal. Limousin beef is naturally leaner than Angus beef and many other more commonly known breeds. As such, Limousin beef cattle are known as "the butcher's breed" or "the carcass breed" due to the fact there is less trim waste (fat) and more meat product (muscle). Our cattle are raised on all natural feed and never given growth hormones or antibiotics. When you purchase beef from our family, you are getting beef that was raised and fed right next to the animals we feed our own family.
